Limestone

Dust / Choke

3/8" down to dust - Used as a choking medium for coarser stone. If put down properly, it makes a closed surface that compacts tightly and is resistant to rutting. Gray in color and very easy to walk on.

#8 Limestone

3/8" down to 1/4" - Used in the manufacturing of asphalt, blocks, concrete and as a road stone Finish coating. Gray in color and easier to walk on than larger stone.

Crusher Run

1-3/4" down to dust - Used as a compacted sub-base under concrete and asphalt. It is often applied as a finish coat for roads. Many people think that it takes on the appearance of concrete when used on a road.

#2 Limestone

4" down to 1-1/2" - Used as a road base at the beginning of the road building process. Often used for construction, drilling and logging access. Gray in color and very difficult to walk on.

#57 Limestone

1-1/4" down to 3/8" - Used in the manufacture of asphalt, concrete and as a little heavier road covering. Gray in color and more durable than #8 Limestone

Rip - Rap

12" down to 3" - Used to control erosion and in some landscaping applications. Gray in color and nearly impossible to walk on.

#4 Limestone

2" down to 3/4" - Used as a road base and as a finish covering in muddier applications. Gray in color and difficult to walk on.

Sand

MASON SAND

1mm - Used with mortar to lay bricks and block, as tank fill, for dairy bedding, under swimming pools and as joint filler in pavers. Tan to blonde in color.

ASPHALT SAND

3/8” down to 0. Used in the production of Asphalt and flexible pavements. Tan to Blonde in color

CONCRETE SAND

1/4" down to 0 - Used in the manufacture of ready mixed concrete, blocks, shapes and asphalt. Tan to blonde in color.

Gravel

Raw Oversized Gravel

6" down to 1/2" - Used for rough road base, landscaping and drainage. Gray, black, white, tan and orange in color. This material has been washed but still contains mud dirt, etc.

#4 Washed Gravel

1-1/2" down to 3/4" - Used for landscaping, leaching media and roof ballast. Gray, black, white, tan and orange in color.

#8 Pea Gravel

3/8" down to 1/4" - Used in tank fill, basement drains, etc. Dark gray to black in color and contains some coal or lignite. Not suitable for use in playgrounds due to staining

#57 Jigged Gravel

1-1/8" down to 3/8" - Used for the manufacturing of ready-mixed concrete and landscaping, this material has been jigged to remove coal and lightweights. White, gray and black in color, sometimes tan and orange.

#57 Drainage Gravel

1-1/8" down to 3/8" - Used as a leaching media in groundwater drainage. Gray to black in color and contains some coal or lignite.
